The European Commission has launched a Call for a pilot project on long-term mobility of apprentices.
The aim of the pilot is to test the viability of setting up "A European framework for mobility of apprentices", to enable young apprentices to develop their skills and enhance their employability, while strengthening their sense of European citizenship.
The Call is centralised and managed by the European Commission’s directorate-general for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, the UK National Agency does not manage the application process.
You can find full information and download the Call document from the European Commission’s website here. The Call contains detailed information including the types of activities which can be funded, eligibility criteria and deadlines. The Application Form and model multi-beneficiary grant agreement will be available from 4 March 2016.
An information day will be held in the premises of the European Commission, rue Philippe Le Bon, no.3, B-1000 Brussels, Belgium, on 17 March from 13:00pm to 15:00pm (CET). If you wish to participate, please email the Commission’s dedicated inbox by 10 March 2016. (Please note the Commission cannot reimburse any costs for attending the event).
