Go figure! New Erasmus+ programme statistics published

After the first two application rounds of the 2017 Call, we are more than half way through the Erasmus+ Programme. As we look forward to receiving youth sector applications under Round 3 of the 2017 Call, we can announce some of the highlights from our latest published statistics.

So what’s new? There are brand new statistics covering the applications received and application results of Rounds 1-2 of the 2017 Call.  We have also published statistics about the projects contracted in the 2016 Call and their participants. Our interactive data map and country factsheets have all been updated with the new statistics too.

  • In the 2017 Call so far, the UK National Agency has offered funding of almost 137 million euros to 844 projects.
  • Between 2014 and 2017 so far, the UK National Agency has funded 3,757 projects and awarded a total of 501 million euros.
  • Between 2014 and 2015, projects have provided almost 137,000 placements for students, learners, young people and staff to participate in the programme. This has included over 11.7 million days of study, work or professional development experience abroad.
