Managing Erasmus+ youth in the UK

The UK National Agency for Erasmus+ is a partnership between the British Council and Ecorys UK. Within this partnership, the youth strand of Erasmus+ will now be delivered jointly by both organisations. Both the British Council and Ecorys have a track record of working with the youth sector on European and national funding programmes such as Youth in Action and the Youth Sector Development Fund, and are looking forward to supporting successful participation in Erasmus+.

As of 1 May 2014 the British Council manages Key Action 1 Mobility for Young People and Youth Workers, while Ecorys UK manages Key Action 2 Strategic Partnerships for Youth and Key Action 3 Meetings between Young People and Decision-Makers. Enquiries from potential applicants, and support to beneficiaries, will be handled by the organisation managing the relevant Key Action. You can find all the relevant contact details on our Contact Us page.

The British Council will continue to manage all existing projects under the former Youth in Action programme.

To support delivery of the youth strand across all Key Actions, Ecorys UK are taking on the management of Eurodesk UK, while the British Council remains the co-ordinator of the SALTO Resource Centre for Cultural Diversity.

In addition, Ecorys UK are managing the Transnational Co-operation Activities (TCA) in the field of Youth. The British Council and Ecorys are working together to transfer activities planned under the 2014 TCA over the coming weeks and months.

Our Youth Funding page on this website has information on the wide range of funding opportunities available under Erasmus+ for the Youth sector.

British Council and Ecorys UK look forward to working together with you on the Erasmus+ youth strand.
