SALTO-YOUTH stands for Support, Advanced Learning and Training Opportunities within the European youth programme. is a network of resource centres working on European priority areas within the youth field. It provides youth work and training resources and organises training and contact-making activities to support organisations and National Agencies working within Erasmus+.

SALTO developed the Youthpass initiative, which links to Key Action 1 youth mobility activities and on the SALTO website you can also find a tools section, which lists Transnational Cooperation Activities (TCA), among things, to help with your youth project and activities.

Following a re-structure of the SALTO resource centres, the main functions of SALTO Cultural Diversity (SALTO CD) have moved to a new, combined centre for diversity and inclusion, hosted by the National Agency for Belgium.

The UK National Agency plans to build on SALTO CD initiatives and achievements – for example, in promoting intercultural competence in formal education, and in developing resources to support young people's resilience – through future TCA.

How do I find a partner?

On the SALTO website you will find OTLAS which intriguingly is SALTO in reverse, but more importantly is a key partner finding tool. If you want to find new contacts in the world, send a volunteer abroad or find the missing partner for your project then through the OTLAS website you can register your youth organisation or informal group, search for partners, create projects and request partners.

If you are looking for volunteers for an Erasmus+ Volunteering project, you should also visit our accreditation webpage.

For more information:

  1. Visit the SALTO website and ensure you are registered on the site
  2. Use the OTLAS partner finding tool
