Young people living in the UK can take part in volunteering opportunities, lasting from two weeks to 12 months, through Erasmus+ Volunteering projects. Volunteering projects give you the chance to experience other cultures and languages up-close and the opportunity to try out the type of work you might like to do in the future. Future employers will like the fact that you have international experience and you will be able to impress them at interviews with your new-found skills.
Can I take part?
If you are aged between 18-30 and living in the UK, you can take part.
Where can I go?
UK volunteers can undertake their activity in any of the Programme countries or in any of the Partner Countries neighbouring the EU. Participants from the UK volunteering in another Programme Country must be registered on the European Solidarity Corps Portal.
Erasmus+ funding will cover everything from travel and accommodation to food and insurance, as well as provide you with a small monthly allowance.
How do I take part?
If you are interested in participating in the Erasmus+ Volunteering, you will need to find a sending organisation who can apply on your behalf. You can search the European Youth Portal's volunteering database for opportunities.
