Adult Education - Pan-Nordic Partner Finding Webinar with the UK
- Date: Monday 2 November, 14:00 - 15:00 GMT
- Event type: Online
Unlock new European partnerships at our upcoming British Council led Erasmus+ virtual matchmaking webinar, specifically designed to connect UK educational providers with accredited Adult Learning organisations across the Pan-Nordic region.
With the UK returning to Erasmus+ for 2027, the appetite for high-impact international collaboration remains stronger than ever. This targeted networking event offers an exclusive platform for UK vocational training providers to build strategic alliances with adult learning institutions from Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden.
The Nordic countries are globally renowned for their innovative adult learning programmes and emphasis on sustainability. For Nordic organisations holding an Erasmus+ adult education accreditation, this webinar provides a direct pipeline to find reliable, high-quality partners in the UK. Collaborating with UK host organisations opens up exceptional opportunities for Nordic students and staff to undertake meaningful traineeships, language immersion, and professional development in a native English-speaking environment.
To get involved, it's important that UK organisations first create an active profile on EPALE (Electronic Platform for Adult Learning In Europe).
Why does this matter? Whilst the UK prepares to join Erasmus+ next year, our European partners are also keen to build new projects and partnerships with the UK. The EPALE platform helps to build the presence of UK organisations and offers links to potential partners in other countries. The more organisations that register on EPALE, the more opportunities there will be for the UK Adult Ed sector - we need you to get involved! is free, quick and easy, and will help you build your network and connect with participants at this event.
We shall also facilitate partner matchmaking exercises utilising Padlet. Please come prepared with the following information ready to post on Padlet. This could be:
Details about your organisation, who and how to contact and link to your website
Area of interest such as: KA1 student or staff mobility project or KA2 cooperation project exploring partnership opportunities.
Area of focus (e.g. informal adult learning, basic skills, volunteering etc)
Country or location of interest (South West UK, Scotland, Finland etc)
Don't miss the chance to combine British adult learning links with Nordic educational excellence.
Secure your place today and expand your global network. Registration is free but mandatory.
