Universities Connect: UK-France Partnerships Workshop

  • Date: Tuesday 8 December, 12:00 - Wednesday 9 December, 12:00 CET
  • Location: France, Lille

Looking to build Erasmus+ or Horizon Europe partnerships in France? Join the University of Lille and British Council France in person, in Lille on 8-9 December for a dedicated workshop bringing together UK universities and key higher education institutions from the Lille region.

Explore opportunities for collaboration, exchange best practice, and develop new connections with colleagues from the University of Lille (a multi-disciplinary university with partner institutions including Science Po, ENSAIT, ESJ and ENSAPL). The workshop also coincides with a UK cultural event in Lille, including an evening reception co-hosted by the British Embassy, British Council and Palais des Beaux Arts de Lille, to which you will be invited.

This is a unique opportunity to develop new partnerships and project ideas and strengthen your institution's links with one of France's leading higher education hubs, see provisional programme attached. Timings of the workshop have been designed to accommodate travel from the UK (midday on 8 December to midday on 9 December).

Places are limited and we are keen to ensure broad representation from across the UK sector. Please register your interest before 11 November by filling in this quick form here. We encourage early expressions of interest and would be delighted to welcome your institution to Lille.

Budget: Hotel accommodation in Lille will be covered by the British Council. UK universities will be responsible for travel costs to and from France (and arranging travel). If travel funding presents a challenge, please indicate this in your expression of interest.
